President Obama visited Amazon’s Chattanooga fulfillment center in July 2013. Leading up to and during that visit, MP&F worked with our client and the White House staff to manage a highly successful event. From assisting with planning, set up and coordinating local and national media relations, we worked to ensure our client’s needs and brand didn’t get lost in the excitement of a presidential visit.
In addition to working on President Obama’s visit, our team has provided support for Amazon’s corporate communications team during a taping of 60 Minutes and the subsequent media coverage that followed, produced and managed a dozen community events with a strong media focus in six states, managed multiple simultaneous Cyber Monday media events and pitched positive business stories related to seasonal hiring announcements and Amazon’s veterans hiring program, among others.
