Since 2012, MP&F has provided strategic communications support for the state’s largest health plan provider supporting 3 million members in Tennessee and across the country. In 2013 we helped BlueCross develop and implement a cost awareness campaign directed at the company’s customers to help them better understand trends associated with health care costs and the impacts of the Affordable Care Act. We worked with BlueCross to create a microsite that focused on four main topics – the impacts of the Affordable Care Act, why health care costs are rising, what BlueCross does to help control health care costs, and what consumers can do to help control costs. We designed the site and helped provide new content for each section of the site on a weekly basis. With our TPRA partners The Carter Malone Group and Moxley Carmichael, we have assisted in communications statewide and around the ACA.
Our team also set up shop in BlueCross’ headquarters in Chattanooga for several weeks to provide assistance with an internal employee communications campaign that involved the creation of multiple information materials, including letters, fliers, brochures and an online, interactive communications tool that MP&F conceptualized, illustrated and developed.
